What
happens to the deposit?
Your deposit will be applied to your rental cost or
refunded in the case of cancellation 10 weeks prior
to arrival.

How
will I receive a refund?
You will be refunded in the same method you paid.

Will
I receive the entire amount I paid for my refund?
You will be charged a $50 administration fee. This
fee will be waved if you rebook.
If
you paid by cheque you will receive the entire amount
you paid less the $50 administration fee.
If
you paid by visa or master card you will be charged
the credit card fees that the credit card company
charges Sterling Vacation Homes for your transaction.
These fees apply both for the credit card payment
and the credit card refund. The $50 administration
fee will also be charged.

What
form of payment do you accept?
Payments for deposit and property rentals can be paid
by personal cheque, money order, visa, or master card.

How
do I go about booking your villa?
Booking our villas is easy. Once you have taken a
look and checked that the dates you are interested
in are available on our villas booking calendar, all
we need is an email or phone call from you asking
us to reserve the villa for you. At the same time
you can arrange for payment of the deposit. All this
can be arranged by email or over the phone.

Is
the deposit refundable?
The deposit is refundable when cancellation is made
10 weeks or more prior to arrival.
What
if I have to cancel with less than ten weeks prior
to arrival?
Because most villa bookings are made far in advance
it can be very difficult or impossible to rebook cancelled
dates. And from the time you make your booking we
will have turned many other inquiries away that we
could have accepted if we were not holding the villa
for you. Therefore our official policy is that the
renter is responsible for full payment for the stay
they originally agreed to book. That being said, unofficially,
we do not like to take money for a vacation you did
not get to enjoy so when your reason for cancellation
is reasonable we always try our best to work with
you to either change your vacation to another time
or rebook the villa to reduce or eliminate your cost.
We try to achieve fairness for you and fairness for
us.

We
have three families in our group. Can we each pay
our portion of the vacation rental separately?
Yes, it is no problem. Just decide who pays what amount
and let us know. Each group can still pay by personal
cheque, money order, visa, or master card; whichever
they prefer.
